As a kid, I was told that pine trees produce fresh air and we would often go to the pine tree forest on top of the hill to have picnics and "breathe in the good air". Looking back, I think the clean air came more from the calmness and stillness of the forest. There were no cars nor people, only the wind hopping between branches. Now, whenever I look at this print, I imagine myself back up there and remember to take some time to disconnect from the busyness of the day.
