CENTER OF ATTENTION

I captured this scene on one of the summer days in late July. We packed some seeds kernels, homemade biscuits, and a watermelon and went out to have a picnic on top of the hill. I didn’t mean to bring my camera with me that day, but it was in the back of the car from an earlier photography mission. While we looked for a place to unfold our chairs, I came across this perfectly placed rock surrounded by a sea of yellow grass. This print is intended to be the counterpart of another print in this collection titled Lost in the Crowd.
